One evening every week, our family transforms our home into Ca5a, a warm and inviting space where guests from around the world gather to share a meal, stories, and laughter. Mom and Dad are the heart of it all; Mom, managing the rehabilitative service at the local jail, brings a quiet compassion and a deep understanding of people, while Dad, a Sales and Marketing director in the boating industry, infuses the evening with a sense of adventure and curiosity about the world.
Our daughters, two teenagers students with a boundless curiosity, help with setting and service, arrange small touches that make each night special.
As guests arrive, a mix of locals and travelers, the aroma of Italian freshly baked food fills the air, setting the tone for an evening of sensory discovery. Everyone gathers around a single long table, where five small elements represent the senses they’re about to explore. Wine and cocktails help the atmosphere to spark and the event to start.
Evening’s menu changes every week, each dish will be explained with a story that weaves together the knowledge of Italy’s food traditions and some life experiences. The menu consists of 5 courses with some extras and surprise depending on the season and the mood. Food is a mix of Italian tradition with worldwide contaminations.
By the time dessert is served the guests are no longer strangers. They are part of the CA5A experience
Our place
Ca5a is located in Treviolo, just 5 minutes car ride from Bergamo downtown.
Guests will be hosted in a modern house with a garden and a pool.
Summer events will be on the outside, while other seasons event's will be on the inside in a nice and warm open-space living room with show cooking kitchen.
Guests will sit on a unique long table to enjoy time and share experiences all together.
